Raid Rules

Raid Policy

A Guild Raid is not a pug. Structure and discipline allow us to succeed while still enjoying the game.

01

Conduct

Respect During Raid

The Golden Rule always applies.

  • Respect leadership.
  • Respect your teammates.
  • Respect the time everyone has committed.

Constructive feedback is welcome. Disrespect is not.

02

Leadership

Follow the Raid Leader

  • The Raid Leader, usually Tyr, directs strategy and makes final calls.
  • During pulls, instructions are to be followed promptly.
  • Clear direction keeps us efficient and focused.

Leadership exists to serve progression.

03

Structure

Raid Leadership Structure

Each core section of the raid has an Officer assigned:

  • Tank Officer
  • Healing Officer
  • DPS Officer

These Officers are responsible for coordination, performance standards, and role-specific guidance.

Expectations:

  • Their instructions are to be respected and followed.
  • Role-specific concerns should be brought to your assigned Officer first.
  • Feedback and accountability flow through this structure.

This system ensures clarity, fairness, and consistent improvement across the raid.

04

Attendance

Attendance & Communication

  • Notify leadership if you will be late, absent, or leaving early.
  • Post in Discord or message an Officer.
  • Respecting the team's time is mandatory.
05

Readiness

Come Prepared

Show up ready to contribute.

In-game requirements:

  • Gems
  • Enchants
  • Personal food
  • Proper consumables

Out-of-game preparation:

  • Drinks and snacks ready
  • Bio handled beforehand

Minimum Item Level requirements will be set prior to each new raid tier.

Average DPS requirements will be established before the tier begins.

Average HPS requirements will also be defined in advance for healers.

These benchmarks will serve as our baseline entry standards for that tier.

As a raid tier's progression becomes more challenging, requirements may be adjusted to reflect our advancement, improved gear levels, and performance expectations. Requirements may be lowered after completion of Heroic raid content.

Our goal is to maintain steady progression while keeping standards transparent and achievable for everyone committed to pushing content.

If there are questions about upcoming tier requirements, members should reach out to an Officer.

A 7-8 minute break will occur midway through raid.

Preparation reflects commitment.

06

Comms

Focus & Communication

All conversations unrelated to raid will stop once a pull timer has started.

  • Keep comms clear during boss fights.
  • No unrelated chatter during pulls.
  • If you die, explanations happen after combat.
  • If a wipe is called, wipe quickly and reset.

Efficiency respects everyone's time.

07

Boundaries

No Religion or Politics During Raid

Raid time is for progression and teamwork.

Hot-topic discussions, including religion and politics, are not permitted during raid.

08

Required

Discord Requirement

  • All raiders must be in Discord.
  • Raiders may respond in text chat if preferred.
  • Raiders must be able to hear voice instructions.
09

Loot

Loot Policy

We follow the Group Loot system.

  • Need = legitimate Main Spec upgrade or Main Spec side-grade.
  • Greed = optional, off-spec, collection, or cosmetic item.
  • Trading is the player's choice.
  • Officers will monitor loot to ensure fairness.

Fair play is non-negotiable.

10

Roster

Alt Policy

Alts will be allowed once all mains have completed AOTC, or at the discretion of the Raid Leader.

All mains get priority rolls on all loot before alts are allowed to roll.

Progression comes first.

HDL

Final Word

Dark Lady, Watch Over Us

We win together. We wipe together. We improve together.

"Dark Lady, watch over us."
